A quick post to share this family mini session from last evening, at the Purgatory Creek Natural Area in San, Marcos! We ran into some trouble when I took them down the trail and were caught in swarms of mosquitos…EVERYWHERE. I am covered in bites today. But atleast we got some good shots, and I learned to stay away from that part of the trail during mosquito season!
I’m so excited about this mini session from today!!
This was my first session in San Marcos, since I moved here from Austin last month. We met at the Purgatory Creek Natural Area and the lighting couldn’t have been more perfect. I loved Harley’s choices in wardrobe and colors, and the way the magenta stood out against the greenery.
William did so well smiling and cooperating for our quick 15-minute shoot, I was impressed by his direction-taking skills!
This shoot was EASY! Why? Because I didn’t really have to do anything other than sit back with my camera and let this family be hilarious. Their oldest daughter, in particular, is…quite frankly… a total goofball (my favorite kind!) and made this one of my favorite shoots of all-time. I genuinely hope I get to see a lot more of them for future photoshoots!
