I love doing senior portraits! It’s so much fun getting to hang out with all of these young women, and helping them get a confidence boost.
Kristy and iLya were married on April 21st, 2016. Their wedding ceremony and reception both took place at the GORGEOUS Stone Hall at Texas Old Town, which is now my new favorite venue to shoot at!
After a week of torrential rain storms and flooding, the weather went against the forecast and actually cleared up for this beautiful wedding day. There were barely any clouds in the sky, and it was absolutely perfect.
Yesterday I got to drive up to Kindred Oaks in Georgetown, Texas, for a retirement/going-away party. Catherine and Jo are partners who have worked with Kindred Oaks for a long time and are getting ready to retire and move to Oregon! They were married last year, and apparently never had a real wedding reception so this also tripled as one (which explains the first dance, and the cake cutting!).
They are both clearly amazing people who are dearly loved by so many, which was made clear by the countless tearful toasts given by their guests. It was actually supposed to be a roast, but nobody had anything other than great things to say about the two!
These two are probably the cutest couple EVER. I’ve never had quite as much fun at a shoot as I did at this one. HE is ridiculously hilarious and had her laughing through the whole photoshoot, which ofcourse makes for amazing picture opportunities. 🙂
We met for this maternity session at Mayfield Park in Austin, TX, and used both the garden area itself, as well as the surrounding trail areas.
Ben and Leslie were actually legally married a couple of months ago, but had their ceremony at Chapel Dulcinea last night on March 31st, 2016. This was a particularly special wedding and I am so thankful to have had the opportunity to be a part of it! Everyone was sooo nice and welcoming to me, and Leslie was the most bubbly and adorable bride ever. Chapel Dulcinea officially became one of my favorite venues after I got to see it at sunset in person for the first time, and I want to get married there myself someday! (It’s a free venue, guys!!)
Thank you so much for letting me be a part of your wedding, Leslie and Ben, and congratulations on your marriage! I wish you two, and your newly blended family, the happiest life together.
